Hi!
I’m Nandita Saharia, a textile designer and digital illustrator based in Bengaluru, India.

My practice is rooted in celebrating the beauty of nature and the timeless cultural heritage.
I have a deep love for flowers and expressive, maximalist compositions, despite being drawn to minimalistic things in my everyday life.
I feel that tension between simplicity and abundance
is what gives my work its character.

With experience in retail and export houses, working with both domestic and international brands, I now work as a full-time freelance designer, collaborating with independent clients and companies on Print design and Design consultation.
I bring a blend of creativity, technical clarity, and industry experience to help brands tell their stories through prints that feel fresh and intentional.

My goal is to design with care, curiosity, and purpose, whether it is developing original prints or building collections with brands.
If you’d like to collaborate or discuss ideas,
feel free to reach out.
Let's create something beautiful together.

My Process

1. Research & Ideation
Exploring stories, cultural references, and natural inspirations to build a strong conceptual foundation.
2. Concept sketches
Translating ideas into loose sketches that capture movement, mood, and visual direction.

3. Motif & technique development

4. Finalising Layout & Colours

Curating thoughtful colour palettes and compositions that balance impact with harmony.
Refining key motifs and experimenting with techniques to define the character of the design.

5. Final Artwork & Delivery
Preparing production-ready artwork in precise formats, ensuring clarity, quality, and seamless execution.
